READERS RESPOND
"I've enjoyed all the recent LADDERS (especially the new covers) but have had nothing especial to say.
"Now I have. I'm thinking of publishing a mimeographed list of books, with some desoriptive matter and reviews, which were not indexed in Jeannette Howard Foster's "Sex Variant Women in Literature... either books overlooked or unavailable to Miss Foster, or which have been published since the appearance of her comprehensive work.
"Anyone who wants a copy of this booklet should write to me before March 1st so I'll know how many copies to print. Anyone who has access to any titles I may not know about should write to me and give all essential data so that I can include them.
"If there is enough response, I'll make this published list of all books on the subject a regular yearly oc-
ourrence.
"I'd appreciate it if you could print this announcement in the LADDER, and you might also suggest that anyone writing in for the booklet might send along some stamps or about 5 to help the good work along. Mimeographing doesn't cost much, but mailing it out does add up.
" I hope there will be enough response to this idea to make it worth the trouble. I think there's a place for a collected checklist of this kind."

We not only think this a most worthwhile endeavor, the DOB has already reserved copies for members and to have on file at the office.-D.
